Recent poor weather has caused disruption to League fixtures and some games have been posponed or cancelled. These decisions are made by the LDSL committee, often at short notice on Friday evening or early on Saturday morning. While every effort is made to contact the managers of the teams affected it is not always possible to contact everyone everytime.
The rule regarding use of pitches for training is that when games are called off then training on pitches is also suspended. There is no exception to this. Please check the club website if there is doubt about the weather affecting fixtures and also listen to Live 95 FM radio on Friday evening 6 O'Clock or Saturday morning. Notices will also be posted on the Clubhouse door and on the noticeboard. Training will continue on the Astroturf pitch for those with allocated times.
As you may be aware the amount of parking availabe at the Club is often limited and we would encourage parents to park sensibly to maximise space. There is also extra space at the Church car park . Do not park along the roadway or on the footpaths as this leads to congestion .
